Homemade Granola

Ingredients:

42 ounces Quaker Oats
12 ounces wheat germ
4 ounces sesame seeds
16 ounces flaked sweetened coconut
5 cups almonds
3 cups honey
1 1/2 cups oil
generous splash pure vanilla extract
30 ounces yellow raisins
16 ounces dried cranberries or peaches
2 cups chopped walnuts-optional

Directions:

Mix together first five ingredients, set aside. Mix together honey, oil and vanilla. Add wet mix to dry ingredients and mix together until moist. Spread this mixture on a full sheet pan.

Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes, stirring mid-way through baking time. Remove from oven and scoop into large mixing bowl.

Add raisins, cranberries and walnuts. Cool. Cool in ziplock baggies in refrigerator or freezer.

Makes 2 full gallon size bags.
